INDIAN ROSES BLANKET
My Indian Roses blanket design was inspired by a trip to Mysore, India where I came across some lovely vintage ceramic tiles
that featured pretty roses at the centre. The original design was worked using woollen yarns from the West Yorkshire
Spinners range, but you can use any DK weight yarn so long at it crochets to the same tension and is equal in length.
The Stylecraft yarn brand is a favourite of mine so I have worked a new sample motif of the design as an alternative to the original alongside two new versions that use yarns from the fabulous Colourlab DK range. To work through the new versions of
the blanket design you will need the original pattern, plus your chosen yarn substitution document. You will need to
refer to the pattern for measurements, equipment needed and the pattern notes.
All yarn substitution documents are free to download.
You can find the download for the Stylecraft Life DK version here.
You can find the download for the Aqua version here.
You can find the download for the Naturals version here.
