LILY POND BLANKET CROCHET ALONG

This blanket was inspired by the series of Lily Pond paintings by Claude Monet. I wanted to create a design that not only gave the idea of lilies sat on a pond, but also of the water around them, so I used many stitch combinations to create the feeling of movement. 

When this crochet along project was released in 2015 we were stunned by the reaction it received, with crocheters worldwide getting on board with the concept of the CAL project and creating their own fabulous versions of my design. I am so grateful to Stylecraft Yarns for their support and for making it possible for me to release the the patterns for this blanket project in the form of free downloads.
