LILY POND

This blanket was inspired by the series of Lily Pond paintings by Claude Monet.  I wanted to create a design that not only
gave the idea of lilies sat on a pond, but also of the water itself and so I used lots of stitch combinations to help
create the feeling of movement. These stitch combinations give crocheters the chance to learn lots of techniques.

When this crochet along project was released in 2015 we were stunned by the reaction it received with crocheters worldwide
getting on board with the concept of the CAL project and creating their own fabulous versions of my design.  I am so grateful
to Stylecraft Yarns for their support and for making it possible for me to release the patterns for this blanket
​project in the form of free downloads.
