INDIGO AND CRIMSON DREAMS
My crochet along project Indigo Dreams was featured in Inside Crochet Magazine between October 2021 and February 2022.
The pattern for this design has now reverted to me and so I am really excited that the paper patterns for this blanket are
available via our web store and that downloadable patterns for it are now live on Etsy and Ravelry.
You can find kits for the project by following this link.
The 24 page full colour brochure pattern includes the instructions for the original indigo blue colour way and the new red and cream version.
It includes full written instructions, step-by-step images and charts and the pattern is available in UK and US terms
Created from a gorgeous palette of Stylecraft yarns, the blanket was inspired by a Kantha stitched bedspread I found on one of my visits to
India and by my love of traditional patchwork quilt designs and tessellations. The blanket is possibly one of my easiest designs to date,
with many of the pieces based on traditional Granny Square motifs. The project starts off with simple pieces and gets progressively harder.

Guide for yarn requirements
Please note that in the list below the amount of yarn recommended to complete the blanket is based on a series of tests. An extra ball of yarn has been added to the list if the left-over amount of a shade is less than 10g of yarn once the project is complete. Yarn shades marked with an asterisk * are a little tight on usage so some crocheters may require another ball. Please see notes on yarn usage and tension in the pattern.
Yarn kits contain the printed pattern and the following yarn amounts, plus a Janie Crow sew in label
