Quick Catch Up with Janie

​It is a really speedy catch up this week, just to let you know about a couple of things....

Magic Circles Wrap
​

Victoria and Laura at Eden Cottage Yarns have been working on a new colour way of my Magic Circles wrap. There are two reasons for this - the first is that one of the shades in my choice of colour combo has now been discontinued and the second reason is because Eden Cottage have had production problems with another shade, which means it will be out of stock until the autumn.
​

We have managed to get hold of enough yarn for just 3 more kits - these will go into stock next week, so you might want to take a look at the colours that Victoria is suggesting. You can find a link to the Eden Cottage web site here.

Magic Circles makes a great stash busting project, so if you are still working your way through a mountain of yarn during lockdown then you might want to consider getting the pattern for either the wrap or the blanket. I think it would make a great cushion cover too!

Rustle Park Sun Hat by The Wool Flower Co

I met Shannon-Jaide of The Wool Flower Co last summer when we were both at a knit and crochet get together in London and we have been in touch ever since. 

Shannon-Jaide is in her early twenties. She is bright, bubbly and charming. Her passion for crochet is immense, something unusual in someone so young and so, as we all try hard to preserve the art of crochet in future generations, meeting someone like Shannon-Jaide has been a real joy.

​Janie Crow Tea Towel
​

I am in love with our new tea towels that feature my pair of crochet birds logo and have featured them here in the newsletter for the last couple of weeks.
​

We thought it was a bit odd that we have only received a couple of orders from the US, but then this week Andy realised that the postage costs for this item had been set too high.
​

​If you are in the US and had considered purchasing a tea towel or two (people appear to be buying them in bulk!) then why not pop over to Janie Crow and take a look at the new (far lower) postage costs. Of course those of you elsewhere in the world are welcome to take a look too!!!
