At Janie Crow we are passionate about the importance of recognising both knitting and crochet as a stage for creativity. We endeavour to show a wide audience the versatility and integrity of the crafts, hopefully managing within that framework to also highlight the differences between homemade and handmade and therefore validate the skills of so many. 

Crochet, in particular, is recognised as a therapeutic and cerebral activity, encouraging hand-eye coordination and the use of the left side of the brain. With an aging world population we believe that creating communities of people and individuals who can pass on their own expanding knowledge and vocalise the benefits and positivity of creativity is really important.
