MEXICAN DIAMONDS CROCHET BLANKET
12 Page Printed Brochure Pattern. Not available as a download only option.
Pattern only available in UK terminology.
I love traditional Mexican textiles and often look at woven fabrics, embroidery and crewel work for design inspiration. This design features a repeated diamond pattern which echoes those found on rugs and wraps from Mexico. A flower motif sits at the centre of the diamond motif and I have used surface crochet to enhance the idea of hand stitching. The flowers sit on the edge of the blanket to give it a really unusual border.
